Why Am I Seeing the "Amount Off-Limits" Error?
The "Amount off-limits" error usually means that the amount you're trying to buy, sell, or withdraw is outside the allowed limits for your account or available balance.
You've reached your account limits
Your transaction may exceed your current daily or monthly limits.
You can check your limits in your Mercuryo Wallet:
- Open your Wallet.
- Select any cryptocurrency from the home screen.
- Tap Limits in the upper-right corner.
- You'll see your current minimum and maximum limits for buying, selling, withdrawals, and other transactions.
You don't have enough cryptocurrency to cover the withdrawal and network fee
When sending cryptocurrency, you need to have enough funds to cover:
- The amount you want to send.
- The network (miner) fee required to process the transaction.
If the withdrawal amount plus the network fee exceeds your wallet balance, the transaction cannot be completed and you'll see the "Amount off-limits" error.
The network fee displayed below the recipient's wallet address is paid to blockchain miners or validators to process and confirm your transaction. This fee is not charged by Mercuryo.
Try reducing the amount you're withdrawing so that your remaining balance is enough to cover the network fee.
Still seeing the error?
If you've checked your account limits and confirmed that your wallet balance is sufficient to cover both the withdrawal amount and the network fee, but the error persists, please contact our Customer Support team using the chat button in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
