How do I change my personal details associated with my Mercuryo Account?

Changing your phone number, email address or strong security settings

If you want to change the email address associated with your Mercuryo Wallet, you can do this from your account settings. The instructions below also apply to phone number and strong security settings.

To begin, log into your Mercuryo account here. Once logged in, follow these steps to change your account email:


  1.  Click on the 'Profile' button near the top right of the page and then select where it says 'Personal Data and Settings' underneath your name.


  2. Select the arrow next to the email address that is currently assigned to your account.



  3. You will be prompted to provide a code that is sent to the email that you are currently using, press 'Send' to begin.

  4. Enter the authentication code that is sent to your email inbox in the box provided. If you have trouble receiving the email, you can wait 20 seconds and then press the 'Resend code' button! Don't forget to check your spam or promotions folder.

  5. After that, you will need to enter your account password and then press the Next button.



  6. Enter the email address that you would like to use for your Mercuryo Wallet in the next step, select if you would like to subscribe to the Mercuryo Newsletter, and then press 'Get code'.



  7. For your account security, you will need to complete a couple more authentication steps. There will be an SMS code that will be sent to the telephone number linked to your account, and also another email code that will be sent to the new email address that you would like to use. Provide these codes in the provided boxes to finalize the email change!



  8. If everything is completed correctly, your email should now be updated on your account! You can check this by going back to your Profile settings ⚙️

 

Changing name, date of birth or other personal details
