Verify your Mercuryo account by logging in, enabling 2FA, and submitting your identity documents. The process takes 5–15 minutes.
How to verify your account
- Log in to your Mercuryo Account.
- When prompted, set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) using an authenticator app. See How do I set up 2FA? for detailed instructions.
- Once inside your account, click Verify on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to submit your identity document and selfie.
Accepted identity documents
Submit one of the following government-issued documents:
- Passport
- National ID card (both sides)
- Driving licence
Important: Your document must be valid for at least 3 months from the date of verification.
Selfie requirements
You must also take a selfie in real time that meets these requirements:
- Colour photo with clearly visible features
- High-resolution image
- No graphical editing or filters
- JPG or PNG format
- Maximum file size: 5 MB
How long does verification take?
Verification usually takes 5–15 minutes if all documents are uploaded correctly.
What if verification fails?
Contact Mercuryo customer support using the chat window in the bottom-right corner of the app, or email support@mercuryo.io.
Do I need to verify every time I make a purchase?
No. Mercuryo only requires verification once. After completing KYC, you will not need to verify again. In rare cases, Mercuryo may request additional documents — you will be notified if this happens.
