Mercuryo uses identity verification to authenticate your account, protect your personal data, and safeguard the integrity of our services. We're also required to do this by regulations as a responsible financial service provider.

1. Log in to your Mercuryo Account
2. Click on "Profile" ↘
3. Then click on "Verify" on the right hand side ↘
4. Follow the instructions provided and your verification process will be complete.
🔻 A few important things you should know before verifying
📄 Document Verification
To provide access to our services, we need to know your real identity, such as name and surname. Depending on the country of citizenship you need to send us a picture of the following types of government-issued identification documents.
- Passport
- National ID card (both sides)
- Driving license
🚨 The validity period of the document at the time of verification must be more than 3 months before the expiration date.
🤳 Selfie Verification
You'll also need to submit a selfie of yourself. Selfies should meet the following requirements:
- Information is clearly visible
- Colored photo
- No graphical editors used
- High-resolution image
- No larger than 5Mb
- JPG or PNG format
How long does the verification take?
It usually takes 5-15 minutes to verify your identity if you have uploaded all the necessary documents correctly.
What if I failed the verification?
In case you fail the verification or encounter any difficulties with verification, please contact our customer support by opening the chat window at the bottom right corner or write an email to support@mercuryo.io.
Will I need to complete a verification process every time I make a purchase?
No. Unlike other services, Mercuryo doesn't require you to pass verification multiple times. Once KYC is passed, you won't need to go through the process again. In some cases we may ask for additional documents or information to help us but don't worry, we'll let you know if we do need these.
