When is this happening?

| 17th December | Your old card will no longer appear in the app. You can still use it if you have the details or it’s in Google/Apple Pay. You'll no longer be able to top-up or manage your existing card through the app. |
| From 17th December* | A new screen will guide you to request your new card. If you have a balance on your old card you cannot spend, please contact our Customer Support team. |
| 1st January | Your old card will stop working completely. Only the new card will be available in the app. If you have a balance on your old card, please contact our Customer Support team. |
Can I still use my old card after 17th December?
What happens if I have money left on my old card?
You will need to either spend or withdraw the remaining balance on your old card.
- If you can still access the card details or have it in Google/Apple Pay, you can spend your balance until 31st December.

You can withdraw your funds any time before 31st December using one of the following options:
- You can withdraw your funds to crypto in the Mercuryo widget and receive a fee reimbursement (up to the equivalent of 10 EUR per user, paid in USDC to your Mercuryo wallet).
- Use your Spend card to add funds to your bank account through your banking app - If you can’t access your card details or Apple/Google Pay, or if you want to withdraw your funds after 31st December, please reach out to our Customer Support team. You can drop us an email at support@mercuryo.io.

Rest assured that your funds remain safe with our regulated card issuer, during and after the transition.
What if I’m expecting a refund to my old card?
If you receive a refund to your Spend card after the 31st December, our regulated issuer, Quicko, will reach out to you directly to arrange the return of the funds to you.

Can I freeze or unfreeze my old card during the migration?

* At the moment, the new Spend card issuance is available only via Ledger. We’re working on the global launch, and we’ll update you when it’s possible to issue a new Spend card, outside of Ledger.
