Your Mastercard Crypto Credential alias and Soulbound Token (SBT) are issued and managed through your Mercuryo account.
If you close your Mercuryo account:
- Your Mastercard Crypto Credential alias will be deactivated and can no longer be used to send or receive cryptocurrency.
- Your Soulbound Token (SBT) will be revoked, meaning it will no longer serve as proof that your wallet belongs to a verified Mastercard Crypto Credential user.
If you wish to continue using Mastercard Crypto Credential, you must keep your Mercuryo account active.
