(Old) How do I buy cryptocurrency using Mercuryo?

💻 Widget

Follow these steps to buy crypto in our Widget 👇

1. Enter the amount you want to spend in fiat currency or the amount of crypto you wish to purchase.
2. To change the fiat or crypto currency then simply tap the currency icons to select something else.
3. You can check the fees out by expanding the drop-down menu
4. When you tap Buy, you'll move to the next step. Enter the wallet address for where you want to send your crypto.
5. You'll need to enter your email address and receive a 2FA code via email.
6. If you've used us before and have a Wallet account, you'll need to enter your password to log in.
7. Once that's done, enter your card details, if you're accessing the page on a mobile browser you can also choose Apple Pay or Google Pay (Subject to availability in your country).

💳 Wallet

Follow these steps to buy crypto in our Wallet 👇

1. You can buy crypto from the home page of the Mercuryo Wallet.
2. Select the card you wish to use, or add a new one.
3. Then select the crypto you want to purchase
4. Enter the amount you want to spend in fiat currency or the amount of crypto you wish to purchase.

5. Enter your CVC/CVV code and click the purple button, the final thing to do is authenticate via 3D Secure.

   💡 Important to know 
   When you add a new card to your Mercuryo wallet, we check your card using a €1 pre-authorisation to verify that your card details are valid. Normally, the €1 returns to your account within a few minutes after the card verification.

📱️Mobile

Follow these steps to buy crypto in our Mobile App 👇

1. Tap the crypto you'd like to buy from the Wallets page
2. Choose "Buy" from the 4 options
3. Enter the amount you wish to buy and press "Buy". If you wish to change the fiat currency, simply click on the fiat currency itself to be presented with the other options
4. Select your preferred payment method and enter the needed details. Please review all information of the payment by clicking the ⌵ button on the total amount
5. Once you are ready to pay, press "Pay"
