Creating and maintaining a Spend card is free, subject to our fair usage fee.
The fair usage fee means you can issue and maintain your Mercuryo card for free, provided there is activity within the card each month.
If the card is inactive for three consecutive months, a €1 fee is applied per month. If the card's balance is below €1, and we cannot claim the €1 fee, we will claim the remaining balance and the card will be closed immediately.
We define a “month” as a 30-day rolling period from the date the card is created or activity occurs on the card. This means the timer is reset each time you top up or use your Spend card.
