It is easy to receive crypto in your Mercuryo wallet. Just click the Wallets tab, then press the QR button and choose a crypto asset you would like to receive.
Just like in traditional bank transfers, receiving crypto assets works through account numbers. Similar to a bank account number, you give this cryptocurrency address to another person from whom you wish to receive a crypto payment.Β
You can click the Copy button to copy the address. The button is located in the middle of the screen. There is also a QR code in this menu that contains your cryptocurrency address. Scan this QR code from a mobile device to send cryptocurrency between devices without typing long addresses or sending blockchain addresses to yourself.
Please be informed that you need to pass KYC if you want to exchange crypto to fiat and receive USD/EUR to your bank card.
Note 1: You can also receive crypto via scanning the QR code.
Note 2: Mercuryo wallet does not support receiving ETH through smart contracts.
Note 3: Due to Mercuryo architecture each ERC-20 token has its own unique blockchain address, your ETH address won't match with your USDT or BAT address.
Note 4: Mercuryo supports ONLY USDT ERC-20 token. OMNI and TRC-20 are NOT supported.
Note 5: Your blockchain address changes each time you receive crypto, all the previous addresses are valid.
Warning: send the right currency to the right receive address
You can only receive Ethereum (ETH) and a number of ERC-20(BAT, USDT, OKB, DAI) tokens in your Mercuryo wallet. Sending unsupported cryptocurrencies to Mercuryo wallet will result with their permanent loss.
If you, for instance, send Ethereum Classic (ETC) to your Ethereum (ETH) receive address, the funds will be lost. Funds will also be lost if you send Bitcoin Cash (BCH) to a Bitcoin (BTC) receive address.
